Simone Joiner is a photographer and visual artist based in Montreal, Quebec. Their work explores themes of intimacy, connection, and vulnerability through portrait and documentary photography. Friendship and emotional undoings are central to their storytelling; informed heavily by theatrical reference and dramatic interpretations of complex emotion. Simone is currently completing their BFA in Photography at Concordia University.
