Photo by Teo Cisorio, Montreal QC, 2023Simone Joiner (b. 2001) is a photographer from Vancouver, BC and is currently based in Montreal, Quebec. Driven by a desire for connection, she uses photography to reflect on the visual complexities and textures of intimacy. She creates a map of her social and familial landscape through photographing friends, family, and herself . Her goal is to explore the intricate worlds of interconnectedness within herself and her kin. With her lens, she weaves together the threads of intimacy, inspired by the abundance of emotional relationships.
